To use positive energy to welcome, treat and care for our clients. Based in Barry, we provide an authentic sanctuary to recharge and enjoy both beauty treatments and holistic therapies, as well as providing the opportunity to learn Reiki and attend our personalised woodland Reiki Retreats.

About Mel
Mel is a fully qualified Wellness & Holistic Therapist, Yin Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master, with over 30 years’ experience providing award winning beauty treatments and holistic therapies.
Trained as a reiki practitioner in 2006, Mel uses her gift of intuition and light through providing group wellbeing sessions, reiki treatments, hosting regular woodland reiki retreats and providing reiki training and reiki circles.
Mel owned a salon in Cowbridge for many years, before creating her home based ‘Karma Pod’ salon in Barry Waterfront.
About Lauren
Lauren is a qualified Podiatrist and has over 10 years’ experience in the beauty industry.
Lauren is trained in Environ skincare, Jane Iredale makeup and advanced nutrition programme skin supplements.
Laurens favourite treatments at karma are gel manicures, pedicures and lash lifts. She is based at karma on a Monday morning and all-day Wednesday.
At Karma Beauty, you can expect a warm welcome, a complimentary drink on arrival and a private environment in which to receive your chosen treatment.
We only book one client in at a time to ensure a calm and peaceful experience.
All products are vegan, eco-friendly and cruelty free.
